The Schl District of Greenville County, located in the beautiful upstate region of South Carolina, serves approximately 60,000 students and is comprised of 100 schools and centers. Once a small town, Greenville has enjoyed record economic and industrial growth during the last 25 years. The school district itself has experienced a 15.5% increase in student enrollment in the last ten years.

Greenville County is located at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and true to its name, is lush with verdant woodlands, expansive lakes and one of the most beautiful mountain ranges in the US. Greenville residents often brag about having rapids to ride, trails to hike and bike, trout streams to fish, fairways to divot, and mountains to climb. Greenville is 2.5 hours north of Atlanta, Georgia and 45 minutes south of Asheville, North Carolina. Vacations at the beach are a Greenville legacy. In approximately three hours motorists can reach Charleston, South Carolina and the beautiful Atlantic Ocean.
