Greenville county Alternative program is the first program in the nation to complete the Trauma Skilled School Training. This rigorous program was developed by the National Dropout Prevention Center. The training is designed to raise awareness among staff on how to more effectively work with students impacted by trauma and adverse life events. By modifying instructional practices and structuring the school climate it is possible to boost achievement and improve graduation rates for at-risk youth. Any changes to the testing schedule will be announced and communicated to parents at least one week before the WIN test is scheduled to be administered. WIN testing will be administered to eligible students on October 21st and 22nd.
