As an educational institution, we recognize the need to share information among schools and districts. Much of our information is published so that other districts can learn and borrow from what we have done. Permissions to use our material

Educational Use

We extend the following permissions to schools, districts, or other educational institutions that wish to use material from our web sites:

  1. Links to any document, whether signed or unsigned, on any of Greenville County Schools web sites are freely permitted and encouraged;
  2. Any unsigned documents may be reproduced in whole or in part unless otherwise noted.
  3. Documents containing the byline or signature remain the copyrighted material of the author(s) (students, parents, or staff members) and may not be reproduced in any media in whole or in part without specific written permission from the author. However, you may link to these documents.
  4. Graphic images at our sites are created by District authors, purchased from clip art collections, or copied from public-domain archives. Please contact the District Webmaster at webmaster@greenville.k12.sc.us before using any graphics from our site.

Commercial Use

Individuals and magazines, trade journals, books, and other print or electronic media that are sold or are published for profit must obtain permission to reproduce any part of any document on any of our web sites.

Permission for any unsigned document or any document for which specific copyright is claimed must be obtained in writing from webmaster@greenville.k12.sc.us.

Permission for any signed document must be obtained from the author. If author contact information is not provided on the page, contact webmaster@greenville.k12.sc.us.
