Wade Hampton High School took the top spot among Greenville County high schools for the second year in a row in the recently-released U.S. News Best High Schools rankings. A list of GCS high schools by state and national ranking is listed below.

The methodology focuses on six factors: college readiness, reading and math proficiency, reading and math performance, underserved student performance, college curriculum breadth and graduation rates. College readiness specifically measures participation and performance on Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate exams.
