Our first GCS Player of the Week won the Class AAA Boys Upper State Cross Country meet, while our second was named to the North-South Tennis All-Star team!

William Barnett, Travelers Rest Cross Country, won the boys Class AAA Upper State Cross Country meet with a time of 16:19! William will head to Columbia this weekend to try and add State Champion to his running resume!

Faith Moyers, Riverside Tennis, finished her career at Riverside as a 5-year #1 for the Warriors. Her success over the past 5 years earned her a spot on the 2015-16 North-South Tennis All-Star team.

Congratulations to William and Faith on their outstanding accomplishments!

Chance Pride, Eastside Football – Recognized as team leader who helped Eagles team improve dramatically in 2015
Allie Wright, Eastside Volleyball – Named All-State in Class AAA Volleyball
Troy Pride, Greer Football – 6 tackles, 2 blocked FG’s, and 2 TD’s receiving vs Blue Ridge
Lindsey Jarecki, Greer Volleyball – Named All-State in Class AAA Volleyball
Shemar Jeffries, JL Mann Football – 13 tackles vs Boiling Springs
Aaron Odom, Riverside Football – 3 TD passes vs Wade Hampton
Aidan Rohrer, Travelers Rest Volleyball – 3 aces, 15 kills and 3 blocks
Josh Edwards, Wade Hampton Football – 18 carries for 167 yards and 2 TD’s, as well as 1 TD passing vs Riverside
Renia Butler, Wade Hampton Cheer – All-Region Cheerleader
Corey Mabry, Woodmont Football - Recognized as team leader
Logan Scott, Woodmont Volleyball – Recognized as team leader
