Members of the Greenville County School Board of Trustees were honored Saturday night by fourteen high school marching bands. The bands participated in the Greenville County Marching Bands Exhibition at North Greenville University. The bands from each high school performed their competition routines for a panel of clinicians.

Before the finale, Superintendent Burke Royster, the marching bands and their directors honored trustees for allocating $1.9 million last year for the purchase of new instruments. Many of those instruments were used during the exhibition.

The bands performed America the Beautiful in unison and dedicated the song to the trustees.
