Three Enoree Star Academy students have been selected to participate in the Bridges to a Brighter Future Program at Fuman University. They are Blaine Huffman, Diondra Hill, and Heriberto Pliego.  Jeffrey Mitchell and Kevin Masters were selected as alternates. The Bridges To A Brighter Future Program accepts 25 rising 10th graders into their summer program each year. The students will spend approximately five weeks on the Furman University campus as they start being groomed to attend college. Furman University will continue meeting with the students throughout their high school years.

The PITSCO Corporation has established two $500 scholarships to award to a Star Academy student. The students were nominated by one of their teachers. Celeste Giles from Enoree Star Academy will receive one of the scholarships. Celeste was recommended by all of her teachers for being an outstanding student, citizen, and role model.
