Washington Center Craft Day
The public is invited to Washington Center’s annual Craft Day Sale Friday, May 10 from 9:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on the school’s main campus, 2 Betty Spencer Drive. The students have been busy preparing a bevy of articles to sell just in time for Mother’s Day. Items available for purchase include note cards, t-shirts, picture frames, stepping stones, magnets, yard signs, jewelry, sun-catchers, coasters, door hangers, herb boxes, gift baskets, and many other treasures. Delectable foods will be plentiful: Popcorn, pizza, nachos, barbeque, banana pudding, donuts and a variety of tasty homemade delicacies. The school’s greenhouse will be open for purchases of flowers, greenery, and vegetable plants. Volunteers from Christ Church Episcopal School will provide face painting and side walk chalk fun while assisting their Washington Center friends. The proceeds from the sale will go to classroom funds to support student needs and activities. Please come and join the students, families, community and staff for a day of fun!
