Three Greenville Middle Academy seventh grade students were recently ranked among the top scorers in the nation on the National French Exam. Ethan Hinson ranked #5, Ian Hammond ranked #6, and Anna Scott Cameron ranked #7 out of more than 24,000 students who took the exam.

Le Grand Concurs, or National French Contest, is a French event in the form of a 60-minute national examination, designed and written by the members of the American Association of Teachers of French. Its purpose is to help identify and reward achievement on the part of both students and teachers. The students are taught by Greenville Middle Academy French teacher Angela Phillips.
