At the Superintendent’s Academic Achievement Awards celebration, Greenville County Schools recognized significant academic growth and performance from the 2023-24 school year.

Elementary Schools:

  • 38% Posted Positive Growth in ELA
  • 58% Posted Positive Growth in Math

Middle Schools:

  • 36% Posted Positive Growth in ELA
  • 86% Posted Positive Growth in Math

High Schools:

  • 69% Posted Positive Growth in English 2
  • 94% Posted Positive Growth in Algebra 1
  • 100% Posted Positive Growth in Biology
  • 25% Posted Positive Growth in US History

The awards were celebrated after the South Carolina Department of Education released the 2023-2024 test scores for End of Course Examination Programs (EOCEP) and South Carolina College- and Career-Ready Assessments (SC READY) for English Language Arts and Mathematics.
