A.R.M.E.S. Nomination Window Open

Arts Reaching Middle and Elementary Schools (A.R.M.E.S.) is a tuition-free, rigorous, artistically gifted and talented program designed to meet the needs of identified 3rd through 8th grade Greenville County students.

Nominations for the 2023-24 school year close April 3, 2023. Rising 3rd through 8th grade students may be nominated by a teacher, parent, adult, or self. All interested students must have an on-line nomination form completed by the deadline. Late nominations are not accepted. If someone other than the student or parent nominates a student please be sure the student and parent are aware.

Students may apply to a program or multiple programs at any of the three sites of their choice. If a student applies to multiple programs and is accepted in multiple programs, they must select one program to participate in. Students wishing to apply to multiple programs must complete a separate nomination form for each program.

Nominated students will be contacted to provide audition criteria and to set up an audition date and time. Required auditions for the A.R.M.E.S. program will be held May 1-12, 2023. Audition information will be emailed to students and parents in mid- to late April.

Students who are selected into the program attend class afterschool two to three times per week. Students must provide their own transportation. Participation in A.R.M.E.S. is part of the district’s Gifted & Talented program, so regular attendance is required.
