Thousands of seventh grade students traveled to the Greenville Convention Center to meet business representatives and learn about careers that may interest them. The seventh grade career fair helps guide students through structuring their high school course work to begin their preparation for work in dozens of fields.

The event puts a spotlight on Career and Technical Education (CTE) while promoting the district’s Graduation Plus initiative aimed at ensuring students graduate with a high school diploma, college credit and industry certification.

CTE directly prepares students for high-wage, high-demand careers and covers many different fields, including health care, information technology, advanced manufacturing, hospitality, management and more.
