GCS Celebrates Academic Achievements in Key Performance Areas - Graduation Rate, College & Career Readiness, Among Others.
Greenville County Schools continued to celebrate overall achievement and growth with the Superintendent’s Academic Achievement Awards at the October Principal’s meeting. Schools were recognized for Graduation Rate, College and Career Readiness, Work-Based Learning, Certifications, and CTE Completers. Specific key performance indicators critical to student success were also celebrated in the areas of Multilingual Learners, Pupils in Poverty, and Students with Disabilities. These achievements align with the District’s Graduation Plus (G+) initiative which focuses on students graduating with a high school diploma plus college credit and/or industry certifications, ensuring that they are college- and career-ready.
