Greenville County Schools is excited to announce an opportunity for teacher candidates to learn more about employment opportunities in the Upstate of South Carolina and Greenville County Schools.  This is in addition to the Greenville County Schools Shining Stars event which will be held on March 5, 2018.

If you are interested in teaching in Upstate South Carolina, you won’t want to miss the South Carolina Outreach for Upstate Teaching (SCOUT) event on Saturday, February 10, 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. at T.L. Hanna High School in Anderson.

SCOUT was created by the collaborative efforts of eight Upstate SC school districts with the mission to provide an opportunity for teacher candidates to learn more about the Upstate and its schools. This teacher recruitment event is for beginning and experienced teachers to explore employment opportunities in Upstate SC.

The eight school districts that are recruiting teachers are Anderson Districts 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, Greenville County Schools, The School District of Oconee County, and Pickens County Schools. If you have further questions, please SCOUTupstate@gmail.com.
