Jason Warren, Assistant to the Superintendent/District Ombudsman

Jason Warren began his career in public education in 1998 as a music teacher/band director at Berea Middle School, then Berea High School. He spent five years as a teacher and administrator in Anderson District One and Union County before returning to GCS in 2005. Since then, he has served as Administrative Assistant/Special Education Administrator at Beck Academy, Assistant Principal at Woodmont Middle School, Principal of Beck Academy, and most recently as Principal of Greenville Senior High Academy. Mr. Warren was named the 2014 Greenville County Schools Administrator of the Year and has been recognized as South Carolina PTSA Administrator of the Year, National Speech and Debate Association District Administration of the Year, and South Carolina Association of Athletic Administrators 4A Classification Principal of the Year. Mr. Warren earned a B.S. in Music Education from Bob Jones University, an M.Ed. in Administration and Supervision from Clemson University, and an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership from the University of South Carolina.
