Maureen Tiller

Dr. Maureen Tiller has served as both a school and district administrator, including principal roles at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Dr. Tiller previously served as the founding principal of Fountain Inn High School, where she led the successful opening of the school and established its staffing, instructional, and operational systems. Her leadership focused on building strong organizational systems, cultivating a highly engaged school community, elevating student voice through student-led Individual Graduation Plans (IGPs), and creating a culture that supports high levels of learning and student success. 

Prior to joining Greenville County Schools, Dr. Tiller held multiple district and school leadership positions in Laurens 56, including Special Education Coordinator, Principal, Executive Director of K–12 Instruction, and District Career and Technology Education (CTE) Director. Throughout her career, she has focused on improving instructional quality, developing highly engaged school cultures, expanding career pathways, supporting teacher effectiveness, and improving student outcomes.

Dr. Tiller holds degrees from Winthrop University, the University of South Carolina, and Clemson University, where she earned her Doctor of Education in Educational Systems Improvement Science.
