Celebrating School Board Recognition Month
The month of January marks the annual observance of School Board Recognition Month — a time to salute the work of 12 Greenville County Schools Board members and more than 600 Board members serving South Carolina public schools. Schools and districts around the state participate in School Board Recognition Month to honor the contributions and service of school board trustees.
GCS Board members will hold an official signing of the Ethical Principles during the January 11 Committee of the Whole meeting, publicly saying that they will uphold these effective governance principles throughout the coming year.
