Doug Webb

Doug Webb has served as the General Counsel for the District since 2009. Prior to his employment with the District, he was a prosecutor handling criminal offenses ranging from drug trafficking to murder. He received his bachelor's degree in political science from Furman University and graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law.  Mr. Webb has taught graduate courses for Furman University and Clemson University in school law.   He has also been recognized by his peers as South Carolina’s “Legal Elite” in education law by the South Carolina Business Magazine, has received the Jefferson Award for public service, and is a graduate of Leadership Greenville.
