Julie Horton holds a BA in Journalism from the University of South Carolina. She joined Greenville County Schools after serving 13 years as the Director of Intergovernmental Relations for the City of Greenville, acting as the legislative/governmental liaison at the local, state, and federal level. Ms. Horton’s previous experience includes Press Secretary/Director of Public Information with the SC Attorney General’s Office, Director of Public Relations for Erwin-Penland, and Vice President of Communications for the Greenville Chamber of Commerce and SC Chamber of Commerce.
