Sue Cleveland is a school that believes every child deserves both the opportunity to achieve academically and the opportunity to discover who they are. Our strength comes from the way we bring rigorous academics, arts integration, student leadership, intervention and enrichment, social-emotional support, family engagement, and community partnerships together to create a learning environment where students are known, challenged, supported, and celebrated. Our students are given opportunities to lead through Safety Patrol, Student Government, and our News Show; explore their talents through the arts and STEM; and receive targeted academic support through intervention and instructional support systems. At the same time, our families and community partners are active participants in the life of our school. This combination of academic growth, meaningful relationships, student opportunity, and community partnership is what makes Sue Cleveland more than a place where children attend school—it is a place where children are encouraged to discover their strengths, develop their voice, and prepare for life beyond the classroom.
