Why Greenbrier Elementary

Greenbrier Elementary families can count on us to foster a community built on kindness, leadership, and relationships. Our school combines this culture of leadership and kindness with a commitment to high-quality instruction and academic success. Students have the opportunity to learn and practice Franklin Covey’s Leader in Me 7 Habits, set and monitor goals, and discover their unique strengths and voice. Students can use those strengths to lead through classroom and school-wide leadership roles. We commit to create a school where everyone is known, valued, and challenged.

Greenbrier is a Leader in Me Lighthouse School that provides students with meaningful opportunities to develop leadership skills. During designated LEAD time, students receive direct instruction and opportunities to apply the 7 Habits of Happy Kids in their daily lives. Students also develop leadership skills through Covey Clubs, Student Lighthouse, leadership roles, and other student-led opportunities. These experiences encourage students to discover their strengths, take ownership of their learning, and lead in meaningful ways throughout the school community.
“I'm blown away with Greenbrier. I truly enjoy all of the students' work and the adorable goals/trackers. It brings so much warmth to the school and I understand why my son loves going to school. Thank you for all you do to develop the next generation!"

“Greenbrier is a place where my children have a community that recognizes them as well as supports them; and they have an opportunity to grow in every way possible. They're being taught what it takes to be a good leader, how to show kindness to others, and their decisions/choices have an impact on the world.”
