Why Fountain Inn Elementary
Fountain Inn Elementary is special because our teachers and staff take the time to know each child as an individual and create an environment where every student feels valued, supported, and connected. We believe that when children feel a sense of belonging, they are more willing to take risks, try new things, persevere through challenges, and grow both academically and emotionally.
Our school provides students with opportunities to do more than memorize information. Students ask questions, collaborate, solve problems, create, and apply their learning to meaningful, real-world situations. We want our students to see themselves as thinkers, problem-solvers, creators, and leaders. While encouraging a love for learning, teachers use data to understand student needs, provide targeted support, celebrate growth, and challenge students to reach their potential.

We believe in developing the whole child. Academic achievement is important, but so is character building. Our SHINE expectations (Show Respect, Hold Yourself Accountable, Inspire Others, Never Give Up, and Every Day Make Good Choices) give our students a common language and a shared understanding of what it means to be a Fountain Inn Firefly.
