The Fine Arts Center Summer Program June 8-11, 2026
The program is geared towards students who: Have a strong interest in the arts and want to deepen their skills,
AND are in Middle School or High School and are strongly considering auditioning for the FAC in the future,
OR have auditioned for the FAC and want to improve their skills.
Program Structure - AM Session: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. – This session is for middle school students who desire to improve their fundamentals under the guidance of our teaching artists. Students who are entering grades 7 and 8 may participate.
PM Session: 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. – This session is for high school students who will work with our teaching artists on sharpening and refining their already present skills.
Cost - Tuition for the program is $200.00
Students from Title I middle schools attend for free and have access to bus transportation. Students who have the “Pupil in Poverty” designation may quality for financial assistance.

The CTE Innovation Center at Roper Mountain will again be hosting half-day summer camps for rising 7th, 8th, and 9th grade students. These camps give students a chance to explore exciting career pathways through hands-on rotations in five innovative labs: Aerospace Technologies, Networking/Cybersecurity, Renewable Energy Technology, Emerging Automotive Research, and Automation and Robotics—each led by current CTE students.
Camps will run from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM on the following dates: June 2, 3, 9, 10, 11, 23, 24, 25, 30 and July 1. Students will only attend one session.
Registration will be first come, first served based on space available. The fee for the camp is $35 and that includes a T-shirt and lunch. Registration will not be complete until payment is received. We cannot provide refunds, but an effort will be made to allow your child to move to another camp date if space is available.

Summer Virtual Learning Opportunities for Rising 7th–9th Graders
If you have a rising 7th, 8th, or 9th grader and are interested in your child taking a summer virtual course, please complete the interest form before April 30th.
After submitting the form, your school counselor will follow up with next steps and help determine the best option for your child.
As you begin planning for summer, Greenville County Schools offers virtual learning options for students who may be interested in getting ahead or earning credit. Attached are flyers with details about two programs: the GCS Virtual School Program (rising 7th–8th grade) and VirtualSC (rising 6th–12th grade).
These courses are completed online and provide flexible opportunities for students to explore new content or strengthen prior learning. Please note that courses follow set schedules and deadlines, so students will need to stay engaged throughout the term.
