Executive Director

Lynn Gibbs, the Executive Director of the Greenville County Schools Foundation, has more than 40 years of experience in Human Resources.  She joined Greenville County Schools in 2007 as Director of Classified Personnel and was named Executive Director of Human Resources in 2012. Lynn served in that role until retiring in 2022. 

She previously worked in Human Resources with BBA Nonwovens, Delta Woodside, Mount Vernon Mills and Riegel Textile Corporation.

Lynn was recognized in 2011 by The Greenville Society for Human Resources Management with their Lifetime Achievement Award for contribution to the Human Resource field.

She is a graduate of Furman University and has served as a member and President of the Furman Alumni Association, and she has served on the Board of United Ministries and Board of Directors for Greenville’s Child.
