This page is for donations to the GCS Foundation General Fund. This page is not to be used for Scholarship Golf Tournament or Hall of Fame.  That information can be found on the Scholarship Golf Tournament Page and the Hall of Fame Page.

Mission Statement - "Celebrating Success in Greenville County Schools" through teacher and school grants, student and teacher scholarships and communication of these success stories to the community using innovative funding.

Levels of Giving

Foundation Founders Circle - Platinum Level $10,000
Foundation Founders Circle - Gold Level $5,000
Foundation Founders Circle - Silver Level $2,500
Foundation Founders Circle - Bronze Level $1,000
Foundation Founding Member - $ 500
Bricklayers - $ 100
Friends of the Foundation - $ 20

Individual donations may be made to become a friend of the foundation, Also PTAs and other fundraising groups in our schools can sell these memberships and receive 20% of what they collect, as a grant from the foundation, back to their organization.

All donations will be used to support the mission of the foundation.

  • Grants to teachers and schools for innovative programs
  • Scholarships for students
  • Scholarships to teachers for certification in areas of need
  • Individual and group staff development
  • Staff and Faculty recognition and communication of successes to the community

Donors at the Foundation Founders Circle Bronze level and above will be recognized on a plaque at the district office and on the Foundation website.

For a minimum donation of $1,000, memorials and tributes may be made to honor family or friends for their accomplishments and contributions to education. At the request of the donor, the foundation will award a one-time grant or scholarship in the honoree’s name.
