Greenville County Schools has released the 2026-27 calendars, which include the 4K-12 student calendar in both English and Spanish. As a reminder, GCS releases calendars two school years in advance so that families and staff can plan ahead. The 2025-26 calendars for the upcoming school year were released in January 2024. The South Carolina ACCESS for ELLs tests are statewide assessments in Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. Tests are administered to limited English proficient students to determine their proficiency in the English language. Students will be tested January 21-March 7. Per SC law, students are required to participate in testing and the students’ scores will count in the schools’ and district’s accountability calculations. Students are required to test on-site at their brick-and-mortar schools of enrollment on the dates listed below. Remote testing is not available. The tests will be administered online, so students should bring their charged, school-issued device on each test day. All Greenville County students have the opportunity to register in the full-time Virtual Program. Registration for the 2025-26 GCS Virtual Program opens December 9.
