A Note from our Principal, Mrs. Julie Cooke

J. Cooke

Dear Lake Forest Families,

My name is Julie Cooke, and I am the proud principal of Lake Forest Elementary School! I am truly humbled and blessed to be a part of an outstanding school community with a strong reputation for academic success and parental support. The outstanding work that has been accomplished at Lake Forest speaks to your dedication and commitment in collaborating with us. I share your drive and passion for excellence. When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, shopping (especially clothing and shoes 😊), and decorating/designing.

I am also a Clemson fan! I received my undergraduate degree from USC-Spartanburg in Elementary Education and my Master’s degree from Clemson University in School Leadership and Administration. I have been dedicated to public education and Greenville County Schools since I was a student myself. I am a proud product of Greenville County Schools. I attended Taylors Elementary, Hillcrest Middle, and Mauldin High School. I have two daughters, Reagan (18), who attends Mercer University in Georgia, and Anna (15) who is a sophomore at Mauldin High School. My husband, Greg, is the director of Enoree Career Center. Our family is dedicated to public education.

It is truly an honor and a privilege to serve you and your family as principal! This year promises to be another year where great memories will be made, new friendships will be formed, and new learning will take place! Like the teachers and staff, I stand ready to assist and support you and your family. You can reach out to me by phone or email with any questions or concerns that you may have.

Wishing you well,
Julie Cooke
