About Golden Strip Career Center

Golden Strip Career Center offers students the opportunity to take courses with job-skill driven curricula. Students may earn certifications and experience authentic, hands-on training in one of fifteen offered programs. Additionally, they have the opportunity to pursue a technical career interest while earning high school credit and possibly dual credit (college credit). One, two, and three-year programs are offered, based on the program, each culminating in students earning licenses, national certification, and college credit. The courses are designed for students who wish to pursue a two-year associate degree, a four-year degree, or a career after graduation.

The School District of Greenville County runs buses multiple times per day for AM and PM classes as well as our New 9th Grade Career Exploratory Program for students attending Fountain Inn, Hillcrest, JL Mann, and Mauldin High Schools. Students driving their own vehicles must have special permission from the home school and GSCC administration.
