My name is Angie Lewis, and I am the Assistant Principal here at Plain Elementary.
I earned a M.A.Ed. with a concentration in School Leadership from Furman University. I have my B.A. in Early Childhood Education from the University of South Carolina Upstate. I am also a graduate of the Peace Center’s Outreach Program. This is a three year program where I was tranined on how to incorporate the arts into the classroom. I truly believe arts integration is vital to ensuring students are truly engaged and learning happens naturally in the classroom setting.
My hope is that through collaboration, teamwork, positivity, and being willing to serve from the heart will directly impact our mission and vision here at Plain where our motto is, "A School Family- Positively Committed to Excellence". My years as an educator, trainer, mentor, and leader has allowed me to understand the importance of being connected as a school family. As an administrator at Plain Elementary, I hope every adult and child that I have the privilege to serve feels valued, loved, and appreciated.
