Pay Student Debts Online!

DebtDid you know you can pay your student's Northwood debt online anytime using MySchoolBucks -- no matter what GCS school they currently attend?  The system has a guest checkout feature, so you don't even need a log-in or password!

When your student receives a debt notice, please pay close attention to what the Northwood debt is for and the exact amount due.  You will need this information prior to entering the MySchoolBucks site.  The system will not reflect your student's personal debts.

Any fees not paid will follow your student throughout their time in Greenville County Schools and may impact future privileges (high school parking passes, prom tickets, etc).  If you have located any items listed as lost, we encourage you to return the item so the fee can be waived!  Note: MySchoolBucks funds added to or available in lunch accounts cannot be applied to debts linked below.

To inquire about your student's Northwood Middle debt, please email our Media Center staff at sdartez@greenville.k12.sc.us or gcleveland@greenville.k12.sc.us

Self-Paced eLearning

eLearning

Hurricane Helene was an unusual event resulting in widespread power outages for an extended period of time, which made it impossible for Greenville County Schools, and most districts in our area, to conduct eLearning during the eight days schools were closed.  In accordance with state law, the State Department of Education is requiring districts to make up three of the days missed during Hurricane Helene, which will then allow our local School Board to excuse three days and the State Board of Education to excuse three days.  Students should check their Google Classroom sites for assignments.

Self-Paced eLearning Make-Up Days: Work Must Be Submitted By:
Fri, March 14 Fri, March 28

Shared Ownership Strategic Review

Hand Shake

Greenville County Schools is undergoing a Shared Ownership Strategic Review Process, a review of special education services, processes, and results for students with disabilities. In addition to conducting parent surveys, forums, and a summit, the district is commissioning a third-party, external review of special education services as a part of the Shared Ownership Strategic Review Process.  All of this is being done with the goal of gaining parental, external, and internal feedback so that we can continue to improve services for our students.

There are several options for parents and the public, both in-person and virtually, to provide input on special education services. Responses from the recent parent/guardian survey are being used to develop topics and questions for discussion at the forums.
