CHROMEBOOKS @ NORTHWOOD
CHROMEBOOK REPAIRS
Student Chromebooks that require repair may be swapped out in the Northwood Middle Media Center on school days between 7:30AM - 3:30PM
Contact: Ms. Stover at sstover@greenville.k12.sc.us | phone: (864) 355-7014
Not all issues require a visit to the Media Center. Students should do some basic troubleshooting on their own before coming to the Media Center. If an issue persists, please visit the Media Center for assistance; however, most issues can be resolved using tips provided in Chromebook Troubleshooting
MISSING/LOST CHROMEBOOKS
Please note that students who leave Chromebooks unattended are being negligent. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure the safety of their device at all times, just as they would with their cell phone or other valuable items.
Students must charge their Chromebooks at home each night and are encouraged to leave chargers at home.
Students should immediately report missing Chromebooks to Ms. Stover in the Media Center and discuss possible Chromebook replacement options.
Students who lose their Chromebooks or do not return them to Northwood when transferring to another school will be assessed a debt for the replacement cost.
Students who have Chromebooks stolen from unsecured areas (leaving their devices unattended at school, in an unlocked car, at a sporting event, etc.) will be responsible for the replacement cost of the Chromebook.

If replacement Chromebooks are available, students will receive an immediate replacement while his or her Chromebook is being repaired.
If a loaner Chromebook is not available during the repair time, students will be notified to pick up his or her Chromebook once the repair has been completed.
Students will need to see the Media Center staff regarding any additional repairs in order to assess the repair cost.
