School begins for all students on Tuesday, August 11.
For the 2026-2027 school year, 4K students attend on a staggered schedule during the first week based on the first letter of their last name. Students only attend on their designated day for orientation and readiness assessments before normal attendance begins.
• Last Names A–F: Tuesday, August 11
• Last Names G–M: Wednesday, August 12
• Last Names N-S: Thursday, August 13
• Last Names T-Z: Friday, August 14
Note: 4K classes follow the standard elementary school hours from 7:45 am to 2:15 pm.
Greenville County Schools is introducing a new online payment platform, SchoolCash Online, for school-related fees and activities such as field trips and yearbooks. Please note that SchoolCash Online does not replace MySchoolBucks for meal payments. GCS Food and Nutrition Services (FANS) will continue to use MySchoolBucks for meal expenses.
