Welcome to Eastside High School! Whether you are joining us for the first time or returning for another year, we are excited to have you as part of the Eagle family. As we begin another school year together, I am honored to serve as your principal and look forward to continuing Eastside's tradition of excellence.
At Eastside, we are proud to be recognized as an “Excellent” school on the South Carolina School Report Card and a Palmetto Gold School. These accomplishments reflect the hard work and dedication of our students, staff, families, and community. While we celebrate these recognitions, we know our greatest strength is our people. Every day, we strive to create a school where students are challenged, supported, encouraged, and inspired to be their very best.
Our focus is simple: Every Student. Every Day. These words guide every decision we make. We believe every student can learn, grow, and achieve at high levels when provided with outstanding instruction, meaningful relationships, and opportunities to succeed. Our commitment is to ensure every student feels valued, supported, and prepared for success both inside and outside the classroom.
Eastside has a long-standing tradition of excellence in academics, the arts, athletics, and student leadership. Whether your interests are Advanced Placement and dual credit courses, career and technical education, fine arts, athletics, clubs, or community service, there is a place for you at Eastside. We encourage every student to find their passion, challenge themselves, and take advantage of the many opportunities available.
One of my greatest pieces of advice is simple: get involved early. Join a club, participate in athletics or the arts, serve your community, attend school events, and step outside your comfort zone. Some of your most meaningful high school memories will come from the experiences you have beyond the classroom. The friendships you build, the lessons you learn, and the connections you make will help shape your future and create an unforgettable high school experience.

Together, we will continue building on Eastside's legacy while creating a welcoming environment where every student feels connected, challenged, and supported. We are committed to helping every student reach their full potential and ensuring Eastside remains a place where excellence is the standard.
