Strings
BRHS strings class is made up of all high school grades. Students must be recommended by their middle school strings teacher. Students must also possess a personal instrument for practice at home. Strings students get one elective credit per semester that they take strings.
Roughly two concerts each semester are given along with field trips. Students may also choose to participate in High School Strings Clinic, All State Orchestra, All Region Orchestra, Solo and Ensemble, or one of the district wide after school orchestras.
Quality is high for the students - and Grade 3 1/2 to 5 music is played. While the class atmosphere is relaxed, the expectations for the quality of music is very high.
