Dear Families,
My name is Morgan Warner, and I am honored to serve as the principal of Mitchell Road Elementary! It is a privilege to join a school community known for its strong Mustang spirit, supportive families, and commitment to student success.
Most recently, I served as Assistant Principal at the Riley Center at Ellen Woodside, where I had the opportunity to work alongside dedicated educators and families to support students with a variety of unique learning needs. Prior to that, I’ve worked at various schools within Greenville County Schools as an Assistant Administrator, 2nd Grade teacher and 1st Grade teacher. Each of these experiences helped shape my vision for student-centered leadership and a belief that every child can grow and thrive when given the right support.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of South Carolina Upstate and a Master’s in Education: Administration and Supervision from Anderson University. I hold certification in Early Childhood Education and am a Tier I certified principal. At Mitchell Road, I am committed to nurturing the growth of the whole child—academically, socially, and emotionally—so that each student is prepared not just for school, but for life.
Outside of school, my family and I have recently relocated from Easley to Greenville. My husband and I are incredibly blessed to be parents of our 5 children, who we are very proud of! In my free time, I enjoy spending time cooking for my family, going to the lake, and exploring local thrift shops!
I’m thankful for the opportunity to work alongside you and your child this year. I truly believe that strong school-family partnerships are the foundation of a successful educational experience. Please know my door is always open—feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns. I look forward to all we will accomplish together!
Saddled Up for Success,
Morgan Warner
