With excitement and gratitude, I am the new Assistant Principal of Alexander Elementary School. I look forward to working with the Eagle families and supporting all students with a safe and positive environment conducive to high levels of learning.
Before entering the education profession, I earned my Bachelor of Science degree from Anderson University. I started my teaching career in 2009 at Southeast Middle School in Richland County School District One. I completed my Master’s of Art in Curriculum and Instruction, then I went on to complete my Doctorate of Education in Administration for Teaching and Learning. In total, I served as a classroom teacher for nine years, and now I am in my seventh year in education leadership.
As Assistant Principal, I plan to let love, kindness, and compassion be my guide in providing a safe and positive learning environment that is inclusive and equitable for all students. I believe "it takes a village" to ensure student success.
I look forward to meeting and working with our Alexander Elementary families as we grow throughout the school year.
Go Eagles!!!
