NewTech@Mann students are not graded in the area of agency, but it is a large part of our process and a required component of NewTech distinction.
Agency is centered around initiating and promoting one’s own learning in order to be productive in a work environment.
Much of what is being measured in agency is grounded in the concept of the “growth mindset”. Through agency, we offer students numerous avenues by which to demonstrate that they are growing as learners.
