26-27 Extended Day Registration
We are excited to announce that registration for the 2026–2027 Extended Day Program (EDP) is now open!
Our Extended Day Program provides a safe, structured environment for students after school, with opportunities for homework support, enrichment, and play for students after school until 6:00 PM each school day.
For the upcoming school year, Greenville County Schools will be using Procare, a new program management system designed to make registration and payments more convenient for families. Through Procare, families will be able to complete registration, receive invoices and receipts by email, make online payments using a debit or credit card or ACH draft, and access account information and tax documents at any time through an online portal or mobile app.
At this time, all 2026–2027 applications and payments must be completed through Procare. A $40 non-refundable application fee is required at the time of submission. Please note that completing the application and paying the application fee does not guarantee a spot in the Extended Day Program.
Payments for the 2026–2027 school year will begin on July 1, 2026. Families will be billed through Procare, with the first payment due one week prior to the start of school to ensure payment is collected in advance of care.
General Program Payment Guidelines: Payment must be made in advance of EDP care. Payments are due on Fridays by closing time for the following week of afterschool care. For example, payment for next week is due the Friday before the new week begins. A $10 late fee will be automatically applied on Tuesday of the following week if there is a balance due. Failure to pay fees will result in the child being withdrawn or suspended from the program.

Registering a Student
Parents can now enroll and upload documents online by creating a Parent Backpack account. Please visit the Greenville County Schools Enrollment website to learn more and start the enrollment process.
The following documents are needed to enroll:
- Copy of Parent's Driver's License
- Your child’s Birth Certificate
- A current South Carolina Immunization record from DHEC (All out of state immunizations must be transferred to a SC Immunization for school)
- Two Proofs of Residency (which can include):
- A current Electric, Water, or Gas Bill displaying the address of residence and billing date within the past 30 days
- Closing statement for home or current mortgage statement for primary residence showing property address (not mailing address)
- Property Tax Form
- Most recent state or federal income tax return displaying the address of residence.
- Current statement from DSS (Department of Social Services) or any other Government Agency which provides residency of the parent/legal guardian
PLEASE NOTE: ANY PARENTS PROVIDING A LEASE AGREEMENT AS A FORM OF PROOF OF RESIDENCY WILL BE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT UPDATED LEASE AGREEMENTS UPON THE EXPIRATION OF THE CURRENT LEASE AGREEMENT.
