Through hands-on learning, students will know and understand the concepts of protecting networks, systems, programs, and data from criminal or unauthorized use.  The tools and concepts of cybersecurity encourage the cre­ation of solutions that allow students to share computing resources while protecting privacy. Students will solve problems by understanding and closing the vulnerabilities in computational resources. The program aims to raise knowledge of and commitment to ethical computing behavior and students will be prepared for both college and industry professions.
