Station wagons, food processors, and dragsters…oh my!
Mr. Bunnell used creativity and a blast from the past to teach gear systems, drive trains, motors, and differentials.
After taking apart a variety of old kitchen appliances to identify gear systems and calculate rpms, students moved outside to learn about differentials using the dragster Mr. B designed and built. Students LOVED Mr. B’s 1990 Buick Estate Wagon and spent time checking out how much cars have transitioned in 35 years!
