It is exciting the be the principal here at Crestview Elementary, home of the Stingers. We strive to provide your children a rigorous education in a safe and fun atmosphere. We encourage volunteers to come in an work with our students or just come and eat lunch with them. Our PTA is always looking to expand its membership and welcomes new parents to sit on the board or committees. We try to live up to our motto every day: WE ARE CRESTVIEW: Community Pride, Academic Excellence.
Here is a little about me:
This is my 29th year as an educator. For the first 12, I taught mathematics in grades 6-9. I received my Bachelor of Arts, Master of Education and Specialist in Educational Leadership from THE UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA (GO GATORS!!!!! ). So, as you can see, I am a die hard Gator fan, which the students here at Crestview have picked up on pretty quickly.
I have a lovely wife of 22 years and four beautiful daughters. I know that I have my work cut out for me, but I have enjoyed fatherhood a great deal so far.
We have lived in Gainesville, FL, Salt Lake City, UT and Savannah, GA before finally settling in Greenville back in 2005. Our family is even bigger when you add our 2 puppies, guinea pig, and 2 bunnies. We love it here and plan to stay for a long while.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
Have a wonderful school year.
