The “International Spanish Academies” (ISA) are educational institutions in the U.S. and Canada, of all non-university academic levels (Pre-K, Elementary, Middle and High School), of recognized academic prestige, that follow (with all or a part of their student body) an integrated curriculum of Spanish language and content.
The goal of the ISA program is to offer a language acquisition environment where students can reach advanced proficiency in reading, writing, listening and speaking.
Blythe Academy of Languages was selected by the Ministry of Education of Spain to form a partnership as an International Spanish Academy. We were selected because of our commitment to teaching Spanish language and culture.
The Spanish Ministry offers their International Spanish Academies many benefits. These include: a full-time language assistant fully paid by the Ministry, an ISA certificate at the end of sixth grade, educational projects with Spanish schools using Internet support, and, classroom and curricular materials and resources.
Blythe Academy of Languages has created a continuum of learning for dual immersion students. Our program initiates the pathway for students to obtain their Seal of Biliteracy on their high school diploma.
