Students who are identified as multilingual learners will participate in ACCESS testing in January-March of 2025. ML students take this assessment yearly to measure language acquisition. Please see the testing dates below. More information will come home with identified students after the winter break.
Jan 21- 31 - Kindergarten ACCESS testing (students will test for approximately 45 minutes one time during this window)
February 3- 1st and 2nd graders will take the ACCESS listening and reading domains
February 4- 3rd through 5th graders will take the ACCESS listening and reading domains
February 6- 4th and 5th grade students will take the ACCESS writing domain
February 7- 1st through 3rd grade students will take the ACCESS writing domain
February 10-21st- 1st through 5th graders will take the ACCESS speaking domain once during this window
Woodland students have been working hard to create decorations for our school's Christmas tree! The tree is on display at the 39th annual Festival of Trees at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Greenville. Go check it out!
The Greenville County Superintendent and Sheriff ask parents to monitor children's social media accounts closely to help stop the spread of false threats and misinformation, and ensure effective reporting occurs. Please have your child follow the See Something, Say Something protocols by reporting potential threats directly to the school or law enforcement. The marathon club is designed to encourage students to establish lifelong fitness habits by becoming involved in a participatory/goal setting activity. The goal is to log enough miles to complete a full marathon. The Prisma Health Run4Life will serve as this group’s main event. Parents, students, friends are also welcome to join TEAM WOODLAND and sign up for one of the races (5K or 1 Mile). The Team that signs up the most people will get an award!
