Principal's Message
Dear Bryson Bears and Golden Strip Cubs Families,
Welcome to what is sure to be an amazing 2025-2026 school year at Bryson Elementary and Golden Strip Child Development Center! I am honored to serve as the proud principal of both Bryson Elementary and Golden Strip Child Development Center, entering my ninth year at Bryson Elementary and my third year at Golden Strip CDC. This year, our schools’ theme is “Learning is an Adventure,” and we are excited to embark on this journey together. I look forward to another fantastic year of working, learning, and growing together. Our mission is to collaborate as a school family and to help every student reach their fullest potential.
We are especially excited to welcome:
- Our new K4 and K5 families,
- New families joining our school community, and
- Our returning families who make Bryson Elementary and Golden Strip CDC so special.
Our Bryson Bear and Golden Strip Cub community is known for its warmth, support, and commitment to student success. I have lived in Greenville County for thirteen years. I am a proud graduate of Bowling Green State University (B.S. in Business with a minor in Business Education) and hold a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Columbus State University. I am certified in both Early Childhood and Elementary Education. My husband, our son, our daughter, and I are big Ohio State Buckeye fans who also enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors.
Stay Connected and Get Involved!
We encourage all families to stay informed and engaged:

- Join our PTA and SIC to make a difference in our school community
- Volunteer at Bryson Elementary or Golden Strip CDC—contact our front office at (864) 355-3600 to learn more
If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out to me directly at (864) 355-3610 or aboggs@greenville.k12.sc.us.
Thank you for your continued support. Your involvement makes a tremendous difference in the success of our students. Together, we will make this school year a rewarding adventure in learning!
Sincerely,
Andreya C. Boggs

See Something, Say Something
The single most effective, preventative tool regarding school safety and security is the See Something, Say Something protocol. It is critically important that if students see or hear something that is concerning, they say something to a trusted adult or report it anonymously through our reporting system. Reports can be made by phone call, text, email or an online form, which are all accessed by clicking on our icon below.
