First Annual International Thanksgiving

Dear Ralph Chandler Students, Parents, and Teachers,

We are thrilled to invite you to our First Annual International Thanksgiving on Monday, November 11th, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM! Hosted by our Student Service Learning class and supported by the PTSA, this event is a celebration of the diverse cultures and rich traditions that make our school community so unique.

This special evening is about more than just food—it’s part of our ongoing effort to bring the Ralph Chandler community together, one of the goals aligned with our recognition as a National PTSA School of Excellence. In addition to sharing delicious dishes, students from the Service Learning class will be collecting canned goods to support the Backpack Blessings program, which helps families in need.

Here’s how you can participate:

Please fill out the Google Form linked in your grade-level weekly newsletter to let us know what dish you’ll be bringing and how many people will be attending.

We can’t wait to spend this evening together, celebrating the richness of our diverse community!

8th Grade Parents

8th grade parents will soon receive a blue IGP meeting invitation that will go home with report cards. IGP stands for Individual Graduation Plan and is a teleconference meeting between you, a counselor, and your student. This meeting will provide an opportunity to discuss your child's goals, academic progress, and career activities while learning about high school courses and requirements. Please review the form carefully and note your appointment time. You can reschedule your assigned time if needed by reaching out to Ms. Adell at 452-0301. IGP documents, including Woodmont High School’s registration form, can be accessed through the QR code on the invitation.
Please review these documents before your meeting.  Students should be prepared to complete course requests at the IGP meeting. Please reach out to Mrs. Lamb with any questions.
