I am very excited and honored to be the principal at Robert E. Cashion Elementary. I would like to take this time to introduce myself by giving you my educational background. I was born and raised in Simpsonville. I graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1995. After graduation I attended Erskine College, where I played basketball and in 1999, I earned a degree in Sports Management. The following year I enrolled at Lander University and in 2001, I graduated with a Elementary Education degree. In order to pursue my administrative dreams, I received my Masters in Education Supervision and Administration from Clemson University in 2009. Not only have the past 21 years been wonderful professionally, my personal life has been full of joy and happiness as well. My wife, Virginia, and I have been married for 20 years. We are blessed with 3 beautiful children, Emma, Charlie, and Murphy. My wife and I really enjoy seeing our children grow. When we are not playing outside with our big chocolate lab, Champ, and our Toy Australian Shephard, Oakley, we enjoy watching sports especially college football in the fall. I am a sports fanatic and love watching or playing just about any sport. I am honored to work alongside a wonderful group of staff members, parents, and community leaders all focused on the same mission. We will continue to focus on maintaining and continuing to improve the learning environment at Robert E. Cashion Elementary in order for students to grow academically as well as personally. I am truly dedicated to Reach, Educate, and Care for each and every student who walks the hallways of our great school.
Sincerely,
Ryan Streetman
