Profile: Payton Mangrum, Eastside Eagles

Eastside football experienced a resurgence last fall, making it to the 3rd round of the 4A playoffs.  WR Payton Mangrum earned All-State honors and was a big part of that success.  With the graduation of key seniors like QB Jordan Morgan and fellow WR Chance Pride, Payton knows he must take on more of a leadership role in 2018 to help the Eagles maintain that level of excellence.  Payton is up to the challenge and willing to do whatever it takes to help the team win.  The Eagles are off to a 1-0 start as they prepare to host Riverside tonight.  Follow all Eagles sports by visiting the Eastside Athletics website.
