SC Ready Test Dates

The South Carolina College- and Career-Ready Assessment (SCREADY) program is a statewide assessment for students in grades 3–8 in English language arts (ELA) and mathematics, and in grades 4 and 6 for science. The SCREADY tests measure the South Carolina College- and Career-Ready Standards taught in ELA, Math, and Science classes. These standards are located on the SCDE website: https://ed.sc.gov/instruction/standards-learning
All students, including students with disabilities and multilingual learners (MLs), must be administered SCREADY except for those students who qualify for the South Carolina Alternate Assessment (SC-Alt) as determined by their IEP team.

2025-2026 Primary and Elementary Reading Plan
The passage of Act 114 updates The Read to Succeed Act by requiring schools and districts to prepare comprehensive reading proficiency plans that are aligned to the science of reading, structured literacy and foundational literacy skills. This year's reading plan prompts schools and districts to respond in a narrative format. For more information about reading plan requirements, along with a copy of the directions on how to complete the school reading plan, please visit the reading plan homepage at:
