Optional Summer Reading Program

Sign up now for our optional summer reading program for rising 7th and 8th graders. Choose one of two books 96 miles or Out of My Mind or read them both! Then in August, take and pass a reading check and you get chic fil a lunch, ice cream and games! Fill out the sign up form and we'll deliver your book.

Literacy Corner

Literacy Corner: The Literacy Corner is a four-week, comprehensive literacy tutoring program for children/youth ages 6-14 with literacy difficulties. Participating children should have completed kindergarten. It is taught by graduate level, certified teachers in Furman’s Master of Arts in Education program with a concentration in literacy. WICOR stands for Writing, Inquiry, Communication, Organization, or Reading.
