Medication Pick-up Reminider

Medicine bottlePlease pick up any medication provided for school admininstration by the last day of school, May 22, 2024. Medications not picked up by this date will have to be destroyed per District policy. Medications must be picked up by parents/guardians. They cannot be sent home with students for safety concerns.

Awards Day

CertificateOur Awards Day for 1st - 4th grades will be on Monday, May 20. Invitations will be sent home this week with students receiving an award.

Our Awards Day for 5th grade will be on Tuesday, May 21. All fifth graders will be recognized in this program.

 

Guests will need to enter at the back door by the gym with your ID. To sign your child out afterwards, you MUST bring your car tag. If you do not have the car tag, you will be required to go to the front office and wait to sign out your student with your ID.

Athletic Events Safety RequirementsIn light of recent events at athletic venues across the country, Greenville County Schools has updated its safety requirements for athletic events, effective immediately. As a reminder, there is a clear bag policy for GCS events. Thank you for your cooperation and help to ensure the safety of all attendees.

Paint Mt. Mitchell

Mount Mitchell Painting Mount Mitchell is a fun way to celebrate a birthday or special occasion for your student at Mitchell Road Elementary.  For $10.00, you can reserve the rock from 3pm on the day prior to when you sign up, until 3pm the day of.

*Reservations and payment are required - PLEASE double check the date you selected at check out.

*Dates are available on a first come, first served basis and rain or shine. No businesses, please

*Please bring your own paint and materials as we will not provide this for you.

*You may paint the rock starting at 3pm the day before your reservation, so it will be ready for the morning carpool line of your reserved date. For example, if your child's birthday is April 15th, reserve April 15th. You may begin painting the rock on April 14th at 3pm in order for it to be ready for morning carpool on the reserved date. 

*The PTA has the authority to remove/repaint any language or image that is deemed inappropriate. Please do not paint the ground or any of the area around the rock. An adult MUST be present when painting the rock.

*There are NO refunds. The school spirit rock is a PTA fundraiser. Funds are used to help pay for school programs and/or initiatives.
